MW Kids
They'll know your kid's name.
Eight weeks old through fifth grade, at all three campuses, every Sunday. Your kid gets a room built for their age, a leader who learns their name, and a tag that means nobody else takes them home.
Safety, in one object
One number. Two stickers.
At check-in you get two stickers with the same number printed on both. One goes on your child. One stays in your pocket. When the Gathering ends, the sticker in your pocket is the only thing that opens that door. No sticker, no child. Not for a grandparent, not for a friend, not for us.

Every staff member and Hope Team volunteer in a kids room has been screened and background checked before they ever meet your family.

Where your kid goes
Three rooms. One for yours.
Nursery
8 weeks to 3 years
Rocking, holding, bottles, and a diaper bag we will actually use. This is the one room where we hand out a snack, and the snack of the day is posted on the door so you can see it before you decide.
Preschool
3 years to pre-K
Short lessons and a lot of movement. Bible stories told the way a four-year-old actually listens, which is to say with their whole body.
Elementary
Kindergarten to 5th grade
A kindergartener and a fifth grader are not the same person, so they are not in the same small group. Yours lands with kids their own age and a leader who comes back for them week after week.
Your first Sunday
Walk in. We'll do the rest.

Find the Kids check-in
Look for the Kids desk when you walk in, or ask anybody wearing a lanyard. We would rather walk you there than point you there.

We get you in the system
Names, birthdays, grades, your phone number, and anything we need to know about your child: allergies, medications, what helps them settle. It takes a few minutes, and you only do it once.

A host walks you to the room
Not directions. A person. You meet the leader who has your kid before you hand your kid to them.

- Already in our system? Type your phone number into one of the tablets in the Kids area. Everybody eligible comes up at once, you take your stickers, and you go.

- If we need you during the Gathering, we text the primary adult on your account. One message, straight to the phone in your hand.
What the hour holds
Not childcare. Church, their size.
Game time
The doors open before the Gathering starts. This is where a new kid stops being the new kid.
Worship
Loud, moving, joyful. Nobody makes them sing. Most of them do anyway.
A Bible story, told
Skits, questions, and real discussion. The goal is not that they memorize it. The goal is that they use it.
Small groups
A handful of kids their own age and a leader who comes back for them week after week.

Three campuses. Same Sunday.
MW Kids runs during the Gathering at all three campuses. Check-in opens before the doors do, so come a few minutes early on your first one.

Different abilities
Some kids need a different room.
MW Buddies is for kids preschool through fifth grade who need a different kind of room to have the same kind of Sunday. Trained leaders, a buddy alongside your child when that helps, and a Sensory Room built around sight, sound, touch, and smell.
The Sensory Room
The bubble tubes are the centerpiece. Color changes to track, vibration to feel through both hands, and a quiet place to go when the room gets loud.

The questions parents actually ask
Straight answers.
Can I bring my newborn?
Eight weeks is our minimum. Before that, keep them with you in the Gathering. Nobody will mind, and nobody will look.
What about allergies and medication?
Tell us at registration. It goes on your child's record and it goes with your child to the room. If they cannot have the nursery snack, say so and they will not be offered one.
Can we bring food or drinks in?
No outside food or drinks in the kids rooms, with one standing exception: infant bottles, always.
What if my child will not stay?

Do I need to register before Sunday?
No. All of it happens at the desk when you get here. Nothing to fill out in advance, nothing to print, nothing to remember to bring.
Who is in the room with my child?
MW Kids staff and Hope Team volunteers. Every one of them screened and background checked.
