Who is considered a Young Adult?
At Mountain West, anyone post high school to 30 years old is considered a Young Adult. Haven't graduated high school yet? Get involved in our MW Student Ministry (middle & high schoolers)!
How can I get plugged in?
Every Friday night, MW Young Adults meet at our Chamblee Campus! The first Friday of the month is YA Night. YA Nights are our large group events, and each month looks a little different—worship, game nights, Bible study, movie nights, field days, etc. There's always something fun happening at YA Nights! All the other Friday nights we have YA Bible Study. Everyone is welcome! Friday night Bible Study is a great way to connect deeper with some of the young adults that you might meet at a YA Night or at Church.
Are there Small Groups that meet throughout the week for Young Adults?
Yes! In addition to our Friday Night Bible Study & monthly YA Nights, we also have Young Adult Small Groups that meet throughout the week at different locations and times. We encourage all our MW Young Adults to get connected in a YA Small Group, so check out the Small Group Catalog to get connected!
What kind of events does the MW Young Adult Ministry put on?
Every first Friday of the month, our Young Adults gather for their own time of faith, fellowship, and fun! Every YA Night looks a little different. Many times we participate in worship and engage with God's Word together. But we always have a little something extra as well! Some months we have game nights, movie nights, karaoke, outdoor activities, etc. Whatever YA Night you attend, you can always expect to build community with other people in the same stage of life as you!
Can I bring Young Adults outside of Mountain West to YA Small Groups & Events?
Of course! Mountain West is all about helping One More experience hope—it doesn't matter who the One More is! We encourage all our MW Young Adults to invite other Young Adults to YA Nights, YA Friday Night Bible Study, and any YA Small Groups that meet throughout the week.
